It is rare to find true ocean front property for sale in Costa Rica and when you do, it is in what is refered to as a concession zone.  One of our clients has asked us to list a true ocean front parcel, complete with maratime concession.  This parcel is in the town of Matapalo, just north of Dominical.  It is in an area with some small hotels, stores and restaurants.  It is a sleepy little town with lots of charm.  As with any concession property, you need to apply for permission on what can be done on the property but it is well suited for a nice residential home.  The asking price is $450,000 which we realize is expensive but if you truly want to live on the ocean in Costa Rica, here is a rare opportunity.  This lot is not in any of our developments and we will not build a house for you on this lot since we only build in our own developments.
