We also step further out to the town of Zunil, home to amazing flora and fauna on the flank of a volcano and also home to Fuentes Georginas (sulfurous hot springs).  Located up on the mountains and surrounded by an extraordinary ecosystem, a cloud forest flanked on one side by beautiful farming lands.

If possible I always try to visit one of the circuses that travel around Guatemala.  They are unique and worth the effort.
