Full Details:

Our 8 day Costa Rica tour is a great ways to see a variety of tourist attractions.  We'll provide all lodging, transportation throughout the tour, all entrance fees, all breakfasts and we provide one other meal per day, either lunch or dinner.  We will be at restaurants for all meals but again only one lunch or one dinner is included per day.  We typically pay for the biggest meal of the day.  Adult beverages are not included but if you want alcohol drinks, they are always available.  Children under 16 are not allowed on these tours and people with limited mobility are asked not to take this tour as there is some pretty significant walking in some of the national parks we visit as well as at the La Paz Waterfall Gardens.

The first day will be at the Hotel Martino. Arriving earlier on day one will give you more time at the Martino resort.  There is a zoo across the street from the hotel as well as a huge swimming pool, great gym, hiking trails, spa, restaurant, bar, pool tables, internet stations, cable TV, DVD players in room and wireless internet throughout the property.  We stay in better than average hotels and eat good food on all our tours. We hope you tip our driver at the end of the tour and we typically suggest a tip to the driver of $5 per person, per day, but that's entirely up to you.

Getting around in Costa Rica

Taxi transportation is included from the airport when you arrive in San Jose (SJO) Costa Rica to the Hotel Martino.  We will reimburse you for that taxi ride.  We provide transportation for you for the entire tour in a very comfortable Mercedes executive van. We will have plenty of time to see some local sights, swim in the ocean, visit national parks, etc.  You can see a rough description of the tour itinerary here. but it might be backwards, depending on what tour you are on and it may have a few more days that the tour you are signing up for since we offer both an 8 day and 10 day tour.  We visit most of the major tourist destinations in Costa Rica and the tour is great, full and covers a lot of ground.  We've run tours in Costa Rica for over 20 years so we've perfected our itinerary.

Cancellation Policy

We are happy to cancel your tour date if things change on you.  Please cancel as soon as you can. This tour is unique in that we stay in a few hotels that are pricey and have limited availability. We have to book some of these hotels over a month in advance and pay in full at that time. They have strict cancellation policies so do be aware that if you cancel within 30 days of the tour date, we incur charges that we can't avoid and therefore have to charge cancellation fees. This tour is expected to sell out and late cancellations keep others from being able to book. Cancellations made within 30 to 7 days of the tour date will incur a 50% cancellation fee and cancellations made with less than 7 days before the tour date will incur a 75% cancellation fee.
